Yuri Potawsky is a Solution Engineer at Esri who focuses on providing local governments the tools and support they need to successfully use GIS technology. After completing a master’s degree in Geography at Appalachian State he moved to Washington, D.C. and worked as an Imagery/Lidar Scientist with the Department of Defense on a variety of critical projects. Upon moving back to North Carolina, he was hired by ESRI into educational services where he provided technical support to users across multiple industries focusing on the ArcGIS platform, WebGIS, and GIS development through the ArcGIS web APIs.H
